Crime reductions and safety has become an important issue for neighborhoods everywhere.  With police officer spread thin, communities have started to take a more active approach to safeguard their homes.  Some have started crime watch programs, while others have enlisted the services of a private patrol company.

Metropolitan Patrol has created a custom patrol package just for Vicina.com communities.  This package includes some of our most popular services and several that were designed especially for Homeowners Associations.  Prices start as low as $2.00 per residence per month, dependant on the size of the community.

The Vicina.com security patrol package includes:

Random Mobile Patrol Services

    The assigned District Officer will patrol your community at random during the patrol hours of 7PM to 5AM.

    The District Officer will patrol your property Approx. 4 - 7 times per night, each patrol lasting about 15-20 minutes.

Vacation Watch Program

    Community members call into our communications center informing our Dispatcher that they will be going on vacation.  At that time the Dispatcher will inquire as to the duration of the vacation and if anyone is authorized to be in the residence and/or use any vehicle left during their vacation.  Community members may also request that their mail/newspapers be moved to a secondary location each night as not to draw undo attention to the residence.

    The District Officer will foot patrol the community members grounds each night checking all exterior doors/windows for signs of forced entry.  The Officer will also move mail/newspapers to an alternate location if the member requested.

    The District Officer will log each foot patrol of the property and if requested log all mail/newspapers moved during the members vacation.  Upon their arrival back, the District Officer will deliver this log to the resident for their records.

Suspicious Vehicle Calls / Suspicious Person Calls

    The assigned District Officer will respond to all member calls regarding suspicious persons or vehicles in the community.  The officer will investigate the call according to Missouri State Statutes and make proper notification to Law Enforcement if deemed necessary by the Officer.

Alarm Response

    Community members will be given the opportunity to have their alarm companies contact us instead of the local police department during patrol hours.  This can save the cost of having the police come and investigate alarm calls.

    Our Officer will respond to all alarm calls when requested by members.  Contact will be made to us by the members alarm company.

    Upon arrival at the residence, the Officer will conduct a thorough check of the property to establish whether or not forced entry has occurred.

    If deemed necessary, the responding Officer will secure the property and request Local Law Enforcement or reset the alarm and leave the property. 

Escort Service

    Members are encouraged to call Metropolitan Patrol if they feel an escort to their property is necessary.  Our Officer will meet the member at a designated time and conduct a thorough check of the residence and property.  The Officer will then escort the member into or out of their residence.

Metropolitan Patrol will provide reports regarding ALL activity on the client property on a monthly basis.  These reports will include times on the property, vacations watch logs, alarm response logs, and escort service logs.
