Patrol ServicesOur Patrol Services Package includes
a number of services that are offered only by Metropolitan Patrol. We
feel that our long list of services and the quality of our officers make
Metropolitan Patrol the obvious choice.
Our standard services include:
Random Mobile Patrols: Our officer perform random mobile
patrol of all properties. We do random patrols in highly marked Ford
Crown Victoria & Chevy Impala Police Cars with directional lighting.
Calls For Service: Your residents are encouraged to call our
fully automated dispatch call center & our communications officer will
dispatch officer to the scene. Our average response time is 5 to 7
minutes as opposed to the Police Department average of 10 to 15
minutes. Once on the scene our highly trained officers handle the
situation in a professional manner, often diffusing the situation
without having to get the Police involved.
Vehicle / Pedestrian Checks: Once on Private Property our
officers stop and check vehicles/persons that are either breaking
State/City laws & ordinances or breaking the rules of the property. An
officer can also initiate stops for any suspicious person, vehicle or
activity on the property.
Alarm Calls: You are invited to call your alarm service
provider and change us to your first responder for any alarms you may
have. Our dispatcher will immediately send an officer to your property
when an alarm call is received. Our officer will then check the
building perimeter and determine if forced entry has occurred and if the
police need to be notified. depending on the situation our office with
either reset your alarm or request the Police to the scene to conduct a
thorough interior check.
Vehicle Sticker / Tow Program: Our company offers a unique
tow program to our clients. When you sign a contract with us, you tell
us what constitutes a parking violation on your property (abandoned
vehicles, vehicles in dis-repair, vehicles with flat tires) and we will
mark each vehicle in violation with a sticker and send a report to you
regarding the vehicle. If the vehicle owner fails to correct the
violation within the time allowed by law (usually 96 hours) it will be
removed from your property as soon as you either call or fax us
authorization to remove the vehicle. The vehicle will be removed FREE
OF CHARGE. The vehicle is then reported to the proper police department
as to the vehicles whereabouts and why it was towed. The vehicle will
be stored at a contracted companies tow facility.
Activity / Incident Reporting: Each time a significant event
(call for service, vehicle/pedestrian check, crime, etc) occurs on your
property a detailed report is written and faxed to you within 24 hours.
This includes all parking violations and towed vehicle reports.
Extra Patrol Requests: Any staff member of resident is
encouraged to call in requests for extra patrol. This may be due to any
number of reason (recent vehicle break-ins, residents on vacation,
possible illegal activity near a particular location). When a request
is received at our communications center, it is then broadcast to all
officers in the field, and an extra patrol request form is completed.
This request is then passes on to all officers that work in that
District for the duration of the request. If time permits, each time
the assigned car goes through your property extra attention will be paid
to that locations, and anything out of the ordinary will be noted and a
report will be made on it. This includes people that would like us to
check the exterior their property while they are out of town or on
vacation.
Lights Out Reporting: Periodically our officers go through
each property and make note of any exterior lighting that is not
operational.. A report is generated and faxed to your within 24 hours.
ALERT (Automated Law Enforcement Response Terminal): Our
company has access to the Kansas City Missouri Police Department ALERT
System, which allows us to check people for outstanding warrants and
heck vehicles to see if they have been reported stolen. Anyone that is
ran through the computer and has an outstanding warrant will de detained
and held on the property until the Police arrive and take custody of the
person.
Safety Hazard Reports: If an officer sees a potential safety
hazard on your property a report will be generated and axed to your
property promptly.
Periodic Safety Bulletins: Periodically we will send out a
safety bulletin to each of our apartment home / HOA clients. It will
detail tips for keeping yourself and property safe while at home, and
while you are away. It will be up to each property as to whether or not
they will copy this bulleting and distribute it to their residents. We
encourage distribution of the bulletin, as it will give your residents
one more piece or vital information in their arsenal to safeguard their
families and property.
